Bivouac was a star from the start, winning the G3 Kindergarten Stakes as a two-year-old by two lengths over Libertini. As a three-year-old, he took his brilliance to another level, securing two G1 victories in the Golden Rose and Newmarket Handicap. At four, he delivered a breathtaking performance down the Flemington straight, dominating the G1 WFA Champions Sprint.

As a stallion, Bivouac is proving just as exceptional, already siring G2 Silver Slipper winner Beiwacht and G2-winning NZ filly, Intention.

This colt is out of Mella Maria, a talented sprinter in her own right, who claimed a G2 victory in South Africa and recorded two additional stakes placings. She has produced four foals to race, three of them winners—including the highly promising WANARUAH. Wanaruah made an electric debut, winning at Royal Randwick before placing in both the G3 Up and Coming Stakes and the G3 Caulfield Guineas Prelude—all in his first prep.
